Ahaha, bomb threats. We had three in the dead of winter. First time we sat in the cold for hours, and a news helicopter flew over a few times. We all waved. Second time we sat out in the cold for half an hour. (I brought mittens and a scarf. Ha.) But then it started hailing and we were moved to the church nearby. Third time we got stuck in first hour for a while, and then they decided to screw it and just cancel school for the day.

One more thing - My dad used to work at Yazaki. One day he got a call at the office, a bomb threat. It pretty much went like this:

Dad: Hello? Guy: I'VE PLANTED A BOMB, AND IF-- Dad: I don't have time for this. click

Nothing ever happened, of course.

My school has never had any bomb threats, but I remember on 9/11, I was in 3rd-4th grade, and all of a sudden, all these kids just started leaving to go home.

It was until 2 years ago that I found out what happened that day /fail

:o My school (to my knowledge) has never had any sort of bomb threat. Hm. They'd probably evcauate us to fields like they do during fire practices...

This one was actually real, though. Some of the police went in and came back out, and a little bit later a couple of big vans drove up with a disarming robot. First real bomb threat I can remember in a long time; most of the ones we've had (at my junior high and high school, of course) are fake, just fuckwitted losers trying to get out of class. |:/

I've never had a bomb threat ever, but this year we did have some freshmen student/s bring a gun to school.

And now we can't have backpacks in class, dammit. -is still angry about this-

Edit: But they/him did get arrested. I heard there were Sophomores and/or Juniors involved, but there were so many rumors, you know how that goes. It did die down fairly quickly with the students but the higher-ups apparently had a grudge for the rest of the year because we had random backpack checks and they even gave us a pink slip of paper with a story on it about a girl who stole her friend's purse and her friend had asthma so she had an attack without her inhaler or whatever.

Ugh, I thought I left all that shit behind in middle school.

we've never had a bomb threat at school most we had was a kid bringing a knife to school and all that happened them was he was sent home and we all found out about it the next day from gossip XD

we did once have a tannoy telling us about these new drugs that looked just like sweets and told us all the flavors and how they had gotten the information through an email, then 3 minutes later there was another tannoy saying it was just a chain mail and they hadn't notice and was just a joke XD

We had a bomb threat last year. Somebody wrote it on a bathroom stall. They gave the time and date of when they were going to do it. Nothing happened.

Yeah, well this year, our school had, like 8-11 bomb threats. That's right, 8-11. Seriously, WTFF?!?!

Haha, they had a bomb scare at my friend's school. It turned out to be a metronome.

{It's a classic trick where you put a metronome in an empty locker and the ticking makes people think it's a bomb.}

The school has less than 100 students and it also happened to be a state testing day.

There was a stabbing a few years ago in a staircase at my school, and a gun threat the year after. I don't think there's been anything bad lately :S

We had a bomb threat way back in about 6th or 7th grade. They didn't choose to announce it until the very end of the day though.

And my freshman year they found a couple of hit lists made by several kids so they were suspended from school for a week. :/

Last year, there was an unloaded gun at our school, drugs, and the year before that there was a gang fight. And that was a middle school. Thank god I'm now a freshman.

XD I've already posted but that was just about my old school's bomb threats.

In my current town in 7th grade this kid had severe anger problems. They were so bad that he made an extensive hit list. He was taken out of school and was let back in 8th grade. All the people on the hit list have to have their classes arranged so they don't share a class with him and they make it so it's harder for him to see them.

We've had several fights here but that's nothing new. One kid was accused of bringing a gun to school but he didn't so the accuser got sent to jail.

Oh! We had a toxic waste spill at the middle school during my sophomore year. So all elementary schools and that middle school had to evacuate to our high school and hang out in the gym while we had to go to classes.

So now along with the usual drills we have a toxic waste drill.
