K, can't sleep so I'll post more in here. Lol

I am a huge fantasy fag. I love the concept of other worlds, magic, mythical creatures, fairy tales.. And that's where my love of Anthro/Furries came from. The human traits in animals from the fairy tales is what drew me in. ❤

Once in a while I'll draw them in the style I remember from the stories, but not often. I feel more to draw them very human like. Human body with just extra accents! Such as fur, markings, and all these things that can put normal boring humans to shame.

And when I turned the age of 18 I got drawn into the Pornographic scene of furries, why? It's a huge money maker that I can support myself on without the hassle of a minimum wage job. Also when I tried it out for myself I found that drawing sexual activity is extremely fun! xD Lmao. This is being Human or Anthro.

Because I do love drawing Anthros in all sorts of ways I've often been called a furry, furfag, and all sorts of horrible things. But I don't personally classify myself a furry, you ask 100 different furries what makes them furries, you're likely to get 100 different answers. I personally just enjoy the art/fantasy concept.

I'm actually somewhat proud of Furries, a lot of furs have turned in pedophiles and what I hate most, Beasties. A lot of screwed up people will hide in that fandom because they are so accepting of people. But when a majority find one of these scumbags in their midst they band together to get rid of them. But it's just these few psychos that most people see and jump to lots of horrible conclusions as to the entire group, as Corgi said.

I think Furries are just a little fan club. Just like those other people who swarm over popular things. Star wars, Anime/Manga, Twilightlol... Same thing to me.

lol i used to draw anthro. xD all my chars used to be anthro some still have anthro forms, but then i just kept being drawn away from it idk why

I used to draw anthro all the time when I was like 10 and eleven, and I didnt even know it had a name. xD I just loved Redwall and got a kick out of drawing the mice in monk clothes! lol But then I discovered the internet, and every anthro/furry site I found had almost nothing but porn, so I decided I didnt want to be grouped in with that crowd and stopped drawing full anthros entirely. I stick with kimonomimi now, because wings and tails and ears are just so much fun to draw, I cant give them up. xD

I happen to draw anthros all the time. Now, for me, it's just a safer way of drawing myself. I wouldn't feel alright drawing myself as a person, because I think I look gawky. But as a hyena? I can do anything. It's about the art for me. B:

And I'm rather glad I'm not the only furry here. I usually don't boast about it- Because I don't like making others uncomfortable- but when push comes to shove, why, yes, I can has fur. I do feel sad that it seems to all be about porn, though, for a lot of people. That's just...Gross. As for the negative connotations? Well, a lot of that is deserved. ;) I mean, you can't have a subculture without some weirdos. It's just unfortunate that some of us are louder than others. Don't let a few minorities define a whole group, that's all I'm trying to say. We're not all diaper clad, dragon ragin', yiff-time, fursuit extraordinaires, after all. Some of us are genuinely nice people with a love for the animal-people hybrids we grew up with, is all.

That said, I'd be more than happy to do art for anyone who can offer up an arrangement.
