Last year, when we bought cereal or bird seed, there used to be these little worm like things in it. Apparently, there were even some of those in the box of rice we bought.

Recently, I had hair in my sub that I had bought :x

My mom bought muffin mix and it had uh.. I forget what it was exactly. Moths or eggs or bugs of some sort in it. :|

Captain Crunch had cat food in it.

Wet cat food.

I didn't find out until it was too late.

Never ate CC again.. lesson learned.

Oh what did my mom find ...

Oh weevils or something nasty in Creamette's pasta. We've never bought creamette's again. Also, they are awful noodles, anyway. Ugh. Pasty.

A hair in domino's pizza once.

Oh, moldy strawberries at the grocery store this week. They're trying to get rid of them so put them on sale. One tub had a white molded one hidden in the middle. All the other tubs were just only starting to spoil. Ew. that's just wrong.

I threw away our Parmesan cheese shaker b/c ants got in it.

That's roughly it for gross events in foodlandia.

EW, that is nastay! I've found a hair or two in some foods, but that's all that I can remember.

That is SICK. One of my friends bit into a hush puppy the other day and there was part of a millipede in it. D:

Wow, Lots of people find gross stuff, makes me feel slightly better, but a whole lot worse.... Lots of screw ups in food land really. I found a piece of wire on a pizza too, I used to work at the place, so I only told them about it, and they gave me free pizza for a few weeks. I knew what the wire was off, (brush used to scrub the dough mixer, so I knew it wasn't like gross wire, just painful.

I didn't know what the fuck it was. Gross wire or not. It was actually BAKED into the dough, though, so... It made it ten millions times worse, I think. Could have fallen in at the factory, or whatever. :c

Thats what this was. It is worse when you just don't know. I was glad they took my advice and changed how they cleaned the machine to just a wet clean cloth, granted it took me a LOT longer to clean the thing when I was at work.

Ew. D; That's so gross. At least you caught it before it was eaten.

I saw a box of cookies on clearance, and there was a fly buzzing around in the box. :x

I dont have any similar stories like the rest of you guys here xD But for my 2 cents, I'd like to add that Mouse poop doesnt really bother me xD Since i have 11 pet mice, Im used to handling it, its really not that gross. Sure i wouldnt want to ingest it, or have it touch my food, but mouse poop doesnt have an odor unless you shove it up your nose, and it comes off of you really easy xD But yeah, I wouldnt make a big deal over 79 Cents :x I'd rather ask them if you could exchange it for another Brand. ;)

i once cracked an egg from safeway and a black dead fetal chicken came out.

now we have our own chickens and only eat their eggs. never buying eggs from a supermarket again!

Once I was making mac and cheese and I found bugs mixed in with the noodles. They were small and dead, but still it was gross. D:

There was a beetle in our jar of pickled okra once. We still ate it. lol

I basically ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes with mouse poop in it. I was eating it like it was perfectly good cereal. I noticed black dots...half-way through drinking the milk omfg. D: I thought it was something special they added to the cereal. I asked my mom, and she said it was mouse crap. I refuse to touch Forsted Flakes anyways. :(
