- oh no! I'm glad you still have the photos at least, to me those are the most precious data I have, since my memory is so terrible. I had everything backed up, but I was missing some of the most recent events pics because I hadn't sorted them into folders yet. I was smart enough to copy that folder first though, so I have those for sure :) Some minor data is still MIA, but hopefully not much.

- so far, data recovery is under way (I am SOOOO glad my dad is a computer sci major!) and once that's complete I have to order a new hard-drive. Luckily I build my own computers, so all I have to replace is the one part. :D

- laptops stink when they break! O_O All i have is this HP Pavilion fossil and I'm terrified that it will die while my computer is also down.. Then I wouldn't have anything to catch up on subeta with! I'm trying to pick out a new laptop to buy, but I have no idea what I want as far as power so I've been stalling. XD;;

Ah that would be terrible! Stay alive HP! I bought a Macbook pro when my poor old ASUS burned out. I quite like the macbook but now I find it hard to use windows PCs. xD There are a lot of great laptops at decent prices available now though. (:

At least its only minor things that are missing, so its not too bad. I finally backed up and uploaded to a few places now, and we're also looking at getting google or amazon web storage for our things as well.

It's been an okay day so far thanks! How about you? It'll be my first Subetan masquerade, I'm not sure what to expect! I know I ought to come up with some nice HAs but I'm not sure where to start...

My kids are keeping me busy, and I've got work starting soon, but I'm lucky - I can work from home for the most part.

I'm really excited, too. I love all the new stuff that will be coming out, how pretty almost everyone is dressed up, and I'm just... really, really hoping that there will be a plot of some type and please oh please battling that I can handle.

So far, so good. Home for the day, and things will be busy the next day or two, but nothing too bad.

Really, you haven't been here for all that long? Seems like longer. ^_^; Hopefully at the least there will be dancing - like kissing, and trick or treating with other past events, but the tricky bit with dancing is that the other person has to accept the dance, and only then do you get your trinkets. :/ So, that kinda stinks.

A plot would be nice, I like plots! However, i'm more interested in getting all dressed up to dance and get those lovely little cogs. I like to stalk the event boards for artists! XD

In past years I've done that too, stalk for the "do this many dances and get ____ art back". Those are really lovely to do, but last year and with other events I'm just.. lazy.. and dont count my dance requests I send so just help get people achievements.
