I've only gotten one MM so far this month that hasn't responded at all - but why do the majority of folks either send one thing or stay active for about an hour and then drop off the face of the earth?
That short bit of time is fun, yeah, but...what about the rest of the day? Do people just decide they've had enough after one or two exchanges? pokes MM sadly I would spoil you if only you'd respond. :c At all.
Today was my first good MM. Nothing expensive between us, but just a lot of thoughtful and humorous gifts which made me smile. Thanks for restoring my faith in MM!! :D !!
Lame MM today. I sent three items but I still have yet to get ANYTHING. So I'd stopped sending items till I get something. And it looks like I won't...so yeah. Bad one today
I will miss you mm from yesterday. You were a lot of fun, first time I ever really "talked" with mm partner you sent me a ton of nice different items. I'm pretty sure you liked what I sent but I just wanted you to know that I did as well and you were a great partner.
Well, 19's was a let down. Started out like maybe it would be fun, but then ended with complete silence after ten-ish minutes.
And today's is off to an odd start? The first gift was received quickly and was an... odd sort of discouraging message. I hope this means they aren't going to poof immediately or something.
I finally had a good partner for MM (first time this year), so I'm very happy with how yesterday turned out. :)
Got my first no-show yesterday. From now on I'm probably going to send one small cheap thing to see if they're actually active before sending anything more than that.
Third day in a row that my MM sent nothing back. I've participated almost every day. i've had 5 or 6 send nothing at all. One person sent quite a few things but unfortunately the things they sent me were the things I sent them! Hurt my feelings x_x. The rest of the ones I've had send one thing then nothing else. I wish there was like a time limit or something to prevent the MMs that sign up just for the free stuff and never send anything... like you have to send stuff within a certain amount of time (like after you click join MM so you are on subeta) and if you send nothing you get kicked out or something. I don't know. I'm just really sad this year. I love the melody cottage items this year though.
My MM today is MARVELOUS. I was happy when they listened to my initial message, and sent me a few things that were adorable, and then I realized they weren't exactly cheap... So I showered them in love :B They seem to be happy, which makes me happy (plus they've really thought out their gifts), so they more than make up for my lame-o partner yesterday who stopped after 15 minutes. Three great MMs... You guys are just... Thank you ;__;
My MM today seemed friendly enough, so I sent them some expensive wearables and they poofed, lol. Ah well..
But I wish you wouldn't give me shitty stuff. I appreciate the fact that you're actually sending me things, but I really wish you would just stop and vanish now. I've got a bunch of worthless crap in my inventory now that I can't frag, it won't sell and I'm just wondering why the hell you thought sending me things worth 10sP each was going to be a good idea? They aren't even like, cute holiday items. They're just random retired shit that has zero use to anyone on the site at all.
Sigh. I'm such a scrooge. Normally I'm like "Yay they actually sent more than one item!" but today I'm sitting here just begging my computer to make them stop giving me things. I am a terrible person. A terrible person who hates getting events lol.

PEOPLE, if you join MM then participate!!!! So sick of all the greedy people that just want to get! THERE IS NO FUN IN THAT FOR THE GIVER!!! The back and forth is what I love! I WISH we could dump the crappy MM and get a new one.
Ok, another silent MM. :( Why don't I ever get any of you guys who write in this thread, lol. I hate it when they sign up and I send them stuff and they don't respond AT ALL despite the fact that they're clearly online (unless they poofed like 30 seconds after they signed up). So rude.
I had bad MM's before, people who wouldn't send anything at all or just worthless junk, but I've never felt this way. They knew how to communicate and they seemed pretty nice, sent a few items to say hi and let me know what they liked and what they collected, along with some cute but cheap stuff. I thought I had a nice MM for once and sent them a bunch of items to let them know what I liked along with a lot of expensive gifts. And they poofed, They didn't even send an item to say thank you. I felt like an idiot =/
Sent a hello and an item to my MM today. No response.
I miss my MM from yesterday. They were really awesome, and I wish I could continue talking to them. Happy to have gotten the chance to exchange presents with you though :)
I had a brilliant MM yesterday. Swapped quite a few expensive gifts. There was no conversation per say (we did thank each other though) but it was fun.
However today... I've sent a hello and a few little gifts to get the ball rolling. Gotten nothing back :( Got another 11 hours before it resets so maybe they might send something...
I'm thinking my MM didn't really mean to sign up for MM today. First item was of an apologetic nature, and then after I sent them a batch of things anyway because hey, they were there and I was excited, there was a super long pause and I got back a couple of things I sent.... Sent another wave of stuff anyway, and got no response. Whoo.
Took a few days off MM cos I've mostly had bad ones (plus been very busy and not had the time to commit to potential gift-bombing). Joined again today, and my MM sent one cheap item that wasn't even winter themed, just....weird. There was possibly a message behind it but if that was the case it was a really strange one.
Sent them about a dozen winter themed items anyway because I have lots sitting in my invent and I wanted to clear a few out.
^_^ Second day in a row with a great MM. The "conversation" is what makes MM fun. :D Considering I'm thousands of miles away from family and friends for the holidays/my birthday, MM is giving me some of that 'holiday' feel. Up until yesterday, it was just making me feel worse, but the past two days have really made up for it. Thanks so much, MMs. You don't know how much it means to me. Definitely smiling right now. :)
To anyone who's sending low-expense items and feels bad they can't afford expensive items, it really is the thought that counts.
