Another crappy MM :/

The sad part is, if they would show just the slightest bit of effort, I would gift the heck outta 'em.

My MM apparently has decided that they're going to be an item hoarder, not even sending a single thing back in return. At least my previous one gave me something.

My MM is non-responsive :(

Not sure we're communicating all that well today, but I've got a very active MM so it's all good.

I find MM kind of annoying. I always try to send nice items and always get nothing, literally (not even junk) back. I mean I'm not asking for a super rare and expensive item, but really... you couldn't send me something like a plushie or cookie back?

Another dead MM today. Oh well.

But that said, from the sounds of things, I've been pretty lucky so far. I've done MM everyday except one and I've only had two no-shows. Everyone else has been gifting at least on the same level as I was, if not higher.

Seems like a lot of us get a MM that doesn't even bother to send a single item back. I really wish there would be a rule that you should at least try to participate if you join.

I have joined MM maybe 6-7 times this year, and got something back only 1 day. And even then it was obvious that I got just junk that was sitting in their inventory, but at least there was some kind of activity. I joined pretty much every day last year, and I got a MM who put in an effort only once. Something definitely should be done about these problems, because I think MM is something a lot of us enjoy as long as our partner isn't just being a jerk :p I mean, if you send me an orange and a cocoa - that's good enough for me. Receiving nothing at all is just disappointing.

I have an excellent MM today! I'd almost given up hope on the system, just to be pleasantly surprised. I am terrible at communicating beyond hello and goodbye, but we exchanged some high-end items, and I hope I made them happy! ❤ Sadly, I don't know what to do about CWs when I only own two that I need for my HA. :(

I think I scared my MM off. It's okay! Come back! I like giving you more expensive things! You're one of the few who actually came back in the morning for a little bit more of an exchange. c: I WANT TO SPOIL YOU MOAR. ;A;

My MM today has sent one item. At least I wasn't forgotten :(

I'm starting to think I might have gotten the same MM three days in a row, since they've all acted exactly the same: distant.

I sent one item over to get things started (nothing too expensive just to judge if they were alive over there or not before sending anything really valuable), got a few cheap items back, and then they clammed up. I tried sending over some nicer things to see if maybe they were just put off by the first gift not being anything special, but I haven't heard a peep out of them since. :C I mean, it's nice that they sent me anything at all because some MMs don't even do that much, but it's disappointing that they won't respond to me. Even a cheap, mean item telling me to bug off would be better than all this silence, honestly.

I put the rest of the things I bought for them away when I realized they weren't going to keep participating. I'll give them to someone who might appreciate it a little more.

At first I thought people were exaggerating when they said how bad MM was this year. But they weren't, it's terrible! I just don't understand why people join, but don't fully participate. Other than in the guise to get free/nice items. Of the 8 MMs I've had, only one ever sent me back more than one item. And I always start off by sending three just to show I'm active. Sigh, I just don't know about some folks. Greed is a motherfucker.
