Well, my MM is finally awake. They sent me an item worth around 30k. That is better than the 600 sP items. I sent items probably in excess of 1m. :/

I got a present last night after having a bad MM that just kept sending all my items back from an anon: "Try this and you'll forget about your mm! I promise, it will be fun... <3" with a licorice mushroom. Haha! Thank you whoever keeps sending me stuff O_O

Now if only my MM TODAY would send me ANYTHING. >.< I never have luck with this.

Yeah, theoretically I could. But I was so happy that the person really cared that I wanted to give him/her the best gifts I could (and hey, I'm a billionaire! Or at least I was. Once. Long, long time ago...). Oh well, I can always sell some clothes from my wardrobe. I always try my best when I see that my MM is active - last year I participated every day and had only 2 or 3 really active ones, so I know that the one from today could be my last good partner. And the knowledge that somebody somewhere in the world is probably smiling because he/she just received some really nice pixels is just... well, I suppose that's the point - making people happy. But at least in my case it has to work both ways - I'm not really interested in making greedy and ungrateful people happy. Today it worked, and even if I won't get another nice person for the rest of the event - it was still worth participating for that one person (OK, for two - having a good MM on the first day of December also lifted my spirits).

After sending 1 item to me...they disappeared again...cant wait for 12

So my AMAZING mm definitely knows I am their partner. I have no idea how they figured it out (witchcraft? voodoo??) but I am so grateful that they did because they are absolutely SPOILING me. I only wish I could see their wishlist so I could retaliate properly! ❤

Well my first MM for this year was sadly disappointing. I tried doing some of the communicating items to begin with but it only went a handful of rounds before silence. Oh well, always next time!

My MM hasn't been very co-operative today. Oh well there's always tomorrow, saying that they might have some important to do. :)

I sent a few gifts, I will just have to see what the next few hours brings.

I've been sending my MM really nice things and I haven't gotten a single thing back :( Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

My first Luminaire and I had a wonderful partner yesterday! They gifted me something on my wishlist by chance and some other items that are a tad pricey. Nobody has spent this much on me before and it really means a lot. .-. I think my partner today is unactive... I always sent an item to see if they're alive before I attempt to spoil them.. which I can't really because I'm fabulously unwealthy, ahh. But they haven't replied yet... I'm still hoping. The day is still young after all! Now to browse forums and go on a gifting spree. ^^

I really loved all my MMs even if I have gotten mediocre Items. I like the trade off c: Though my MM totally tried to kill my inventory this morning, woke up witha humungo ton of MM messages on my little alert bar. Haha. <3

I don't usually do the MM...just lack the time, focus, and cleverness when it comes to sending items with additional meaning :P But I had an active MM today who managed to keep up and on our slightly random theme, then surprised me at the end of things ❤ It kind of felt like a good-bye gift, but that's okay :) I feel so bad with all the people who have disappointing MM experiences, but don't give up! I always do a few "test" items to see if my MM responds, then gradually increase the value of things...I don't want to overwhelm someone with a very expensive item, as I know that would make ME feel terrible if I couldn't return the favor.

On the other hand, I think the "I'm sorry" puppy idea is brilliant if you have a super generous MM and are simply unable to respond in kind! :)

I've finally got an MM that actually responded (though they seemed to have died). Though they haven't sent me anything extravagant, it's nice to finally have an MM that is actually sending things. :p

Maybe I shouldn't start by sending stuff over 100k : today i sent them an item that was a few hundred thousand and they sent me two game prizes, so I sent them something else, another game prize, and something else oh joy more game prizes. Yesterday wasn't much better either.

None of my partners this year have been all that great during the day, although around the end of day two my partner became active and started sending stuff back <3 that was fun

I signed up for MM for the first time today C: It was going a little slow at first, but just now I got an item I want and need, and it's not on my wishlist, and I seriously decided one MINUTE before I got it that I would need it for this thing I want to do. (Trying not to be specific, hahaha.)

In short: Got an item I really want, really happy and surprised now! :D Time to gift bomb them back ^_^
