I always send something. It's just not always pricey. I lurk around main shop a lot to get the best deal so I can send it to my MM. I did get some pretty clothes and some nice food items I giveaway. I kinda have a giveaway thread as well, so, I'm dividing time between everything LOL... But yeah, it's sad if no one is giving you anything.

First time in all my years on Subeta that I actually had an active MM! It was a lot of fun. Here's to tomorrow!

Day 1 - I was my own MM (yeah, seriously!) Day 2 - MM was dead Day 3 - Today seems better, My mm has been sending some cute little items over <3

Gift-bombing my MM is probably one of the most fun things to do. Hopefully, their computer is okay when they wake up. This is my first Lumi, and first experience with anything like MM, so I'm having SO much fun! Day one was great! Yesterday was disappointing, but I still bombed them with gifts anyways. I don't get upset when people don't send me things back because I want gifts, it's just disappointing to be shown zero gratitude and appreciation. But that's okay, I suppose. I can't wait for today's. c:

Great, another crappy MM partner! I sent 200k in items to say hi, and got 3 fireside freebies xD I wish I could get someone nice, and I don't mean someone who gift expensive stuff, but it would be great if they didn't treat me like their personal dump :P

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I'm soooooo sick of getting freakin duds from the MM. Last year I had 1 good one!! I seriously don't care what I get. I send lots of stuff that can even be resold for a good price if they don't like it. I sent over 100k worth of stuff to my MM yesterday and I got NOTHING in return. I really wish SELFISH people would stop joining MM. /rant

The first day of Luminaire I signed up for MM and I got a good partner, we were sending each other stuff of about the same worth and things that you can actually use you know :)

Today I joined for my second day, and I got a dud. I sent some items to say hello and I got an item worth 1 sp back. I don't expect to get valuable items back and the 1sp item was cute, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I sent a couple more items their way. This time I got a total junk item, it's not even cute, it's just insulting. I sent it back to them with another item that expresses sadness. I hope they got the hint :|

Too bad because I have a whole inventory full of cute items waiting for the right MM partner! ^_^

This is my first Luminaire, and I've only been here for about two weeks anyway, so the whole MM thing is a bit of minefield for me. I'm still finding my way around, so it's difficult to know what to get people that's appropriate or would be appreciated. The whole "communicating with items" thing might get a bit lost on me, I'm afraid, since it's difficult to know what to respond with. So, I'm sorry if you end up with me and feel insulted if I just give you "junk". I only have limited funds at this stage, but I don't want my newness to prevent me from participating. I like to give people items I think are fun or interesting, although maybe really not worth much. It seems a bit sad that people get insulted just because the items they're receiving aren't worth a lot. So, sorry in advance for anyone who gets me over the next few days.

I had a good one on the first day, an okay one yesterday and today.... I think my MM through his/her computer out the window and ran away. :( Haven't heard from them. Maybe they'll come back, see what I sent and decide to play!

Dearest MM, I genuinly don't care if you're poor its a chance for me to spoil you a little but please put some effort into what you're sending we started so well with some cute items but then you started with sending me junk that was full out junk. Please just keep up the effort with your next partner they'll appreciate it more until then I hope you appreciate the gifts I sent your way and enjoy them :)

Three bad MMs in a row, how unlucky can I get? xD Last year I had some good MMs that actually participated, but this time they're just....dead. :p

I just got partnered and am waiting to see if my MM responds to the Hello that I sent them.

If not that makes two bad MMs in a row.

Don't worry, don't let posts like mine make you nervous :) as long as you're at least trying it will be fine, it's the thought that counts after all. I'm sure most people understand that not everyone has a lot of sp to spend.

I think when people get insulted by junk items, it doesn't just mean the items aren't worth much, they're the kind of item that no one wants. Just to list a few (I'm not listing items I got, these are just random examples of what I would consider junk)

If I send a bunch of thoughtful gifts and all I get in return is one of the above items, it's almost like a deliberate insult you know? xD

I don't think my MM understands my attempt at messaging. But that's okay, I love that they're active and actually hopefully having fun. :) I just wish there were an easier way to find out whether they were in my time zone - specifically whether our sleep times match. xD

Thanks! makes me feel a lot better. I wouldn't want to upset anyone with my social clumsiness. I'll try my best, and maybe branch out into slightly more worthwhile presents (the ones I have on hand really are abominably cheap, which is a bit of a poor show whichever way you twist it).

Day 3 of MM, I signed up first which always excites me! I then got hit with 5 super super junk items - like - it's obvious that they don't want to play - it's not that they just don't have a lot of SP. I don't get why people sign up then? I was going to spam back with junk but it's pointless and I don't want to give them more stuff for them to ruin someone elses MM day tomorrow. :/ I did send them a message though, hopefully they'll notice that they could have had a really fun time had they participated properly.
