i work retail as well, and this year my company has manged to tick everyone off. We are closing at 10pm on christmas eve, as compared to the normal 6pm that the company has always done. And for me its not so much as stores that kill it for me, its the rudness that comes out in people. But i love this holiday so i dont let it get to me too much.. Thanks for helping keep the spirit alive

Happy Luminaire and Merry Christmas to you! I work retail (p/t) as well and also work in admin (p/t)... Christmas is still my favorite time of year! But some days it's a bit of a struggle when the store is a zoo and I'm worn out from said zoo!! LOL

They say Halloween is scary, but it's nothing compared to retail behind the cash register on Black Friday! LOL Did that once about three years ago. Look for your Holiday Spirit despite the craziness!

I agree working retail during holidays is horrible. Just being around a bunch of people is. Everyone seems ruder and meaner. Some holiday spirit they have. humph
