I'm curious which retail you work, and hope the music isn't too killing of spirit. My mom worked at pier 1 ages ago and said it was the same cd over and over and over and by the time is as was over she hated all the singers even more. (Most of them were pop covers of Xmas songs man.... So bad) so I hope you get some variety and that it is nice old versions of songs xD

thank you for hosting this! I know what you mean about the Holiday spirit. I work in the Hotel/Casino industry and it seems to bring out the worst in people. Although I had one sweet elderly couple check in tonight who kind of restored my faith. Sad that manners and courtesy are becoming so rare.

I feel your pain 10+ years in retail until I lost my mind one Christmas. I threw up, went home with the flu and never went back! HA. Sorry, not a jolly thought.

Happy Luminaire to you! I used to work in retail , when younger...much younger lol. Back then (yes i used to walk to school up hill both ways...kidding) , people were very kind during the holidays (Holiday Spirit was around). Hopefully they are still. May you have a safe and wonderful holiday season. Thank you for doing this. It is a very nice gesture. :)

I love Whole Foods and need to go there this week (should I be worried?). :P My daughter would love to work there but they don't hire often...at least not here.
