How far along are you? Some of the characters get a lot better! My favourite is Hinata and basically all the ladies. All of em.

I recommend the manga if you're actually WATCHING it bcuz the anime has sooo much filler. I mean, I still love it but the manga is pretty great too. (Also the anime totally screws up Karin and I'm sooo bitter.)

I jump around a lot. Chronologically, I'm at chapter 120-ish, which is when Jiraiya and Orochimaru are hunting down Tsunade. Technically, I'm up to date because I read a ridiculous amount of fanfiction and I Tvtroped the entire series annnd I Wikia'd. Also I just went ahead and read the most recent chapters ahahah. XD I agree that the characters got a lot better; I absolutely adore Sakura now because she has grown into such a wonderful woman. I like Hinata in that she's no longer as shy as before, but I kind of dislike that she allows her love for Naruto to define her (although Gaara is similar in that aspect; his friendship/admiration for Naruto inspired him to become Kazekage). And Ino has grown into such a wonderful motherly figure ahahah. I feel sorry for Tenten because she's still lacking in the spotlight department. QwQ

I actually love Tenten a lot. I think it's partially because of Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals but also because the hate she gets. I wish she had more development. I don't really mind Hinata as much because at least she's using him as an inspiration to become more confident. And she's become so strong because of that. (I agree though that it does define her a lot but I get why she feels that way.) Also Sakura is so great ahhh. People still call her weak and useless when she's LITERALLY one of the strongest ninja in the world. Not only that but she's great at medical ninjutsu and the first Hokage said that she's probably even stronger than Tsunade. And Ino has gotten so amazing ugh. She was already really great but she's just getting better and better.

I actually Wikia'd a lot of stuff while reading the series. My brother's been reading Naruto since we were a lot younger (I watched it when it was on Cartoon Network) so I knew a bit but I looked up everything else. I kind of prefer to read about it before I get there tbh.

XD I like Tenten's character design and her firey attitude, ahaha. I didn't know she got so much hate. OAO It's mostly Sakura getting the hate from what I see (which is a pity...). It's unfortunate Tenten and Shino are so undeveloped as characters because they have so much potential, but that's what fanfics are for. XD Like Gaara, Hinata uses Naruto as inspiration to change for the better, but ahaha, I do have my reservations about love defining a person (especially since I felt like Ginny's potential in HP was wasted by pretty much becoming an ascended fangirl omg--but I digress). YES, SAKURA IS EFFIN' AMAZING SADJASDHAHGFSA. It's hilarious how people continue to hold a grudge because Sakura was really shallow pre-Shippuden, so much that they don't see that Sakura was already changing for the better back then. XD And she's terrifying with her strength omg. Awaaa, Ino. I love her character design and she's just amazing kjdashdasjd.

I've seen a lot of Tenten hate because she's "useless". And she's not she's just fought the worst people for her. (Temari, for example.) I get your feeling! There are a lot of characters whose story lines are made about one single person. At least Hinata has gotten some good development. I think that Sakura wasn't exactly shallow but despite reading all the ninja rules and doing well in school, she just didn't understand what the world was really like. Most everyone comes from a clan but I don't think Sakura does. (It's never actually stated?) I mean, she was like 12 so there are normal teen girl things like caring a lot about boys and her appearance but I think her turning point was the Chunin Exams. I dunno; I have a lot of Sakura feelings because of how much hate she gets. I love Sakura's character design a lot, too. Her part 2 outfit is great. I also really like Naruto's toad sage outfit.

Yeah, I literally started it just because my brother brought home Naruto Ninja Storm 3 and I really liked the game. And now I'm getting into other animes. It's a slippery slope.

XD; I like how the only justification people have for hating a character is because he/she is "useless" (chances are, this accusation is very far off). Temari was indeed the worst match up for Tenten, and it's unfortunate that happened, but people never live things down. /sighs Most of the Konoha 11 did develop wonderfully (sans Tenten and Shino, who were left in the dust...but they're still awesome). LOLYES, her turning point comes when she chops off her hair to assist her teammates. That was just pure "HELL YES YOU GO GIRL." XD I'm not inclined to like a person solely because they're hated. I just really like Sakura because she truly developed. And I love that. :D Also, she feels the most relatable. Naruto's toad sage outfit is cool, yes. A XD Ahaha! How exactly is the Naruto game like? Is it a fighter game like SSBB? Or something else?

I think tumblr has gotten me to a point where I'll start liking a character just to spite other people but I genuinely like all the ladies. And I totally agree about Sakura's treatment of Naruto and Sasuke. (I wasn't even thinking about that for some reason.) It's so weird that it got to a point where Sai called her out on relying on Naruto too much. Ugh now I'm having NaruSaku feelings. I'm so glad that Sakura grew up a lot, though, instead of remaining kind of 2D. (Also I really like how she expresses her inner voice now instead of just thinking "HELL YES." and stuff.)

Oh man when she cut off her hair, everyone was like "holy SHIT." I'm glad she kept it short because it suits her a lot better than the long hair did. (I also saw someone say they hate Sakura for killing Sasori (A VILLAIN) and because she's ugly.)

LOLLLL Tumblr's hilarious, but it depends on who you follow, so. The ladies are all very strong-willed (yep, even Hinata) so yes. <3 Ah, it's easy to dismiss Sakura's previous treatment of her old team if you like her (probably because those who hate her never live it down and continue to label her as a shallow bitch even though SHE'S CLEARLY GROWN OUT OF THAT). Sai is also amazing (he's actually one of my favorite characters, but it's a pity he got shunted to the background after his massive introduction arc). LOL, NaruSaku feels, eh? XD Ahaha, that works. Well, it works more than any ships with Sasuke (I'm sorry I really kind of don't like him in Shippuden QAQ...but Karin and Sasuke are friggin' hilarious on Karin's side). FFTTT, I remember the one time when Sakura pretty much screamed "YOU'RE A GENIUS" at Konohamaru when he showed off a perverted yaoi jutsu. LOL.

XD Sakura really does look better with short hair. Well, whether Sasori's a villain or not is really up for grabs considering that everyone has their motives in Naruto and any "villain" is pretty much just whoever's against Konoha. Or Naruto, anyways. My friends actually really like Sasori because of his character design and powers and whatnot, but they don't expressively dislike Sakura for killing him, either.

Recently caught up some and omg, when Jiraiya died I think I died too.

I am completely caught up on the anime, as well as the manga, and from the chat stand point, i don't want to discuss spoilers for people who might not be that far ahead. But I love Naruto, like actually love his character. I am totally a shipper of Hinata and Naruto, I have been since like the very beginning of the series, back when I hadn't started watching it in subtittles, or reading the manga yet. I think they are cute together, and wold be a wonderful relationship.

Anyways, I am loving all these new awesome Jutsu's they are throwing around, and how close the fox and naruto are getting now. It is pure epiciness. I read many of a chapter and get goose bumps, and cheer loudly in a house that is empty, and then laugh at my self for being sucha fangirl.

I'm excited naruto shippuden is coming to Toonami in the upcoming year!

I'm re-reading the series for like the 4th time now I think and every time I go through all I can think about is how much more time Tenten needs i love tenten

She's my favorite female character becauses while she doesn't get a lot of time what little you do get of her she's still a goddess and also the most down to earth and relatable character
