I always send a couple small items (like faeries), just to see if they'll even send anything back. If they don't, then I know they're probably a dud and I won't bother sending the nice things I would for someone who even sent a single thing.

A nonexistent MM today. I agree with some other people here that it has definitely gotten worse now. I'm tired of having MM's that send nothing at all. Just…why bother signing up? If you're not going to send anything at all, I'm not going to send anything of value that I've been saving. It hurts us both if you don't participate, seriously… :(

Ok, I'm done with this. It's just stupid at this point.

Another zero response. My partner signed up second, I waited a bit then sent some greeting gifts, waited over an hour, and... nothing. They're just sitting there hoping for more free stuff to show up I guess?

It's a real shame for them, since I have lots of great things I'd love to give away to anyone that wants to participate. I don't need to be dazzled. Just prove that you are alive and willing to make even a moderate effort.

I think this going to be my last day. Of the entire month so far I've had TWO people that tried to have a good time with it. I think I'd rather save my stuff to randomly gift to people that I see participating on-site.

Dear MM - Aaaahhh, I love my gifts! That said, I wish you had gotten back to me last night, MM, since I have to pack today and get on a red-eye flight tonight :( I will gift bomb you right now, and then hopefully that will be enough.

Ah dear... I just sent an item to try to say hi to my MM and I got an item back stating they weren't happy as it was a junk item. Can't please them all :/

[edit] Sent a few nice items since they sent the junk item, and got more rubbish items back. Should've known better. I've only had a couple of great MMs also and I joined every day.

Well, today has been a complete dud of a MM. I don't mind getting cheap items or stuff like that...just not getting anything. :( I joined and have spent pretty much all my sP on MM this year and haven't received much since the first 3 days. I think I am going to give up on the Luminaire Spirit :(

Sent some "okay" items, seeing as i usually dont get a response, i think this MM was trying to go for the lowest stuff they could find (no theme), so you know what, i sent them 1sp shit right back

After swearing I wouldn't do it again, I came back for yet another try. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

I sent a series of "greetings" gifts and got back a single 1sp item. But I guess I should be overjoyed that I got any response at all.

Over the last few days I have been soooo tempted to use the letter ornaments to send the most shockingly nasty messages. The only thing stopping me is that I know these leeches either won't care or won't get it, and will just happily throw the stuff in their shop for a few extra bucks and hope I do it again. To hell with that.

I had my second nice MM this year today (second! and I participated almost every day! I don't think it was so bad last year...) but after maybe 20 minutes, he/she sent a goodbye and disappeared. MM, come back, please. I'm so lonely. :(

Had a nice MM today :) They joined second and didn't send anything for about an hour, so I'd just about given up hope that they were going to do anything, but then they came back and sent me some lovely items :) We stuck mostly in the middle ranges, but some of the gifts seemed quite thoughtful. We got some nice communication going too, and I really enjoyed spoiling them with lots of stuff as a thank you to them for trying!
